Tim McElmeel's 1950 Studebaker Street Rod Project
Very nice Tim. The roof chop looks good, however I don't know why you had such trouble with the A pillars, mine fit like a glove. Before you go to far with paint maybe look at getting rid of the vent windows and straightening the window channel for one peice. I couldn't get the glass to work right with the vents in place.I love your frame and bagging, looks top shelf. You've moved right along on your car and will beat my build time by a few years. Look forward some day in parking next to you at an S&S. Your bud,Darrell
Hey Darrell. The A pillars weren't as bad as the picture looks. I wanted to show that I used a gussets in the inside of the metal. The problem was easy to fix. It did seem like we had different model cars at the time I was doing it though. I remember asking you a ton of questions. Thanks for your guidance. S&S 2013 or bust!
